However much I love, love, love my bumGenius diapers, they are falling short of catching the mass quantities of pee that my little guy lets out at night. After having to wash the sheets a few days in a row, I gave up and switched to disposables. A cloth diapering friend recently suggested wool soakers. After deciding that I couldn't afford the wool soakers available on most diapering websites, I checked out Etsy. They have lots of fabulous diaper vendors. For the price of one wool soaker on normal websites I was able to get two wool soakers and two fleece soakers on Etsy. Pretty nice, huh? I decided to try out the fleece as well just to see which I prefer. I'll post pics as they come in and let you know how the new nighttime diapering goes.
Have any of you cloth diapering moms run into problems with heavy wetters? I'd love to hear about different solutions.
You probably won't like me much after I say this, but when my son started wetting through his diapers, we went to disposables. We use the Seventh Generation chlorine-free diapers. I did used to love me some BumGenius, though!
ReplyDeletePerhaps a plastic pant might suffice for nights...if you are hesitant on going to disposibles. Hi, Im becky BTW :)
ReplyDeleteYeah!!! I have a great nighttime diaper and it works AWESOME. it holds in all the pee and all the poop from 7pm till 7am for my toddler! The link to the site where I got mine from is: www.weeones.biz and the diapers I got is this one with the trifold to hold more at night: http://www.weeones.biz/joomla/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=1189&category_id=17&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1
