Curious

His insatiable curiosity makes me grin ear to ear. It's infectious and fabulous. He checks out everything. Just walking from our house to his Nana and Baw-Baw's house takes forever and a very long time. We have to stop to inspect all the leaves, bugs, toads, lizards, skinks, and sticks between here and there.
If we ever want to get in the door, it requires toting him. If left to his own devices we'd never venture inside. I wouldn't change it for the world.

    haha, that makes me smile.
    Chris' mother tells me that he was the exact same way when he was a little tyke. His sister would get out of the car and straight into the house, and Chris would stop and pick up a rock, then throw it. Then a stick and he walk over to the bushes, and pick a leaf. Hop a couple steps before hitting the stairs with his stick. Then finally, up the stairs and into the house.

    I'm really excited to have a little boy someday! Just like his dad....lol, can I handle two??

    Isn't it wonderful how our little ones find wonder and magic in so many places. True explorers they are. That is the way we are all born... I wish I would have kept a little more of it myself. :)

    what a great age, when they just explore the world around them. Shawn will drop on a dime and watch ants for hours, or chase birds in the lawns.

    Such a great time . Enjoy it:-)

    The dude is already that way and he's not quite walking yet. I have a feeling I'll drop some more weight when that starts!
