Sophia's baptism made this Mother's Day extra memorable. The service was beautiful, and Sophia was perfect through it which was a tad surprising considering she decided she was hungry right before it was time to baptize her. Babies are good at that sort of thing. She and Levi and Stephan were all baptized in this same church.
After the service we had a little party at my parents' house. Somehow, we managed not to photograph any of it. But, that's okay because we had fun anyway. :) Post party we took some family photos. Unfortunately, my camera is trying to die on me. I'm sad about this, but I think we still managed to squeeze a few cute pictures out of it...even though Sophia refused to crack a smile, and Levi spent the whole time trying to run away.
(Thanks, Ramona, for taking pics of the whole crew!)
We were really glad that Mimi (Stephan's mom) was able to drive up to join us...
And, isn't Sophia's dress gorgeous? My mom made it. I'm so, so grateful that she took that job off of my hands! It looks a million times better than it would have if it was left up to me.
I do love baptisms, and apparently so does Levi. He's been talking about it ever since. :)
