Weekend Loves

The Week's Favorites:

: : These fruit pops look like the perfect summer treat....cool, yummy, and adorable.

: : I can think of at least one spot where these storage baskets might be just the thing....although, I'd probably go for a prettier and more substantial curtain rod.

: : I'm refraining from growing my current to do list.  It's already a tad too large for my liking, but I'm still bookmarking this oh, so cute frog for future reference.

: : This diy harmonica has me itching to try it out, but can you believe we have no popsicle sticks in this house?  They are going on the must buy soon list.  Then I can make one of my own.

: : I spotted this diaper bag in Target the other day.  Sigh.  Generally, I am none too fond of diaper bags, but this one is really cute...even cuter in person.  And, I'm pregnant, so I get a little googly eyed in the baby department....despite my stance on less is more.  If you're wondering, it did not come home with me.

So, what are some of your favorites.....links, blogs, crafts, etc.?  I'd love to check them out.

  4. Those fruit pops are wonderful!! I know you'd do a great job on those baskets...they're adorable and would look fab in Levi's room.
Btw stunning pic of the crepe myrtle!

  5. Don't get a huge honkin' diaper bag! You won't need it, especially if you aren't hauling around bottles. Hobby Lobby has a pack of small canvas bags that are inexpensive. They are the perfect size for a few diapers, a changing pad, change of clothes or two, wipes, and a cup when it is needed. I had mine monogrammed with the girls initials, but they could be dolled up super easy. The plain canvas wash great, the colored blead like crazy. They have denim too, but I never bought them.

  6. I actually use my purse as my diaper bag. Carrying around two bags just seemed like a bit much....So I just go for big purses and load em up. And with cloth diapers a bigger bag helps.

  7. If I had a big enough purse to carry my stuff plus the girls, I would probably fall in it never to return :)

  8. I love how we moms get with baby shopping when baby is coming.

I seriously could spend hours at baby shops when I was pregnant! I still could actually....if the kids wouldn't get me out of there so quick with their complaints ( :

I love the baskets and the frog and definitely agree with the bigger curtain rod.

I always used a large bag or purse as my diaper bag as well. I do love the one you have your eye on. It looks really roomy.
