Levi is coming home today!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There aren't enough exclamation points in the western hemisphere to convey how happy I am.  In the meantime we are Stephan is working like crazy to finish up a few projects before the little man's arrival.  Once, I get my act together (i.e. my leg stops hurting from this morning's not so charming wake up call....a stinkin' awful leg cramp), I'll be joining him.  Thanks to my incredible husband (who amazingly still thinks I'm wonderful despite my moments of doubting his flooring skills) our house is really-o-truly-o looking like a home....like our home!

Oh, and before I go off to finish up housework, I wanted to share a little conversation with you.  It went something like this:

Me: Do you like the name Leo?
Stephan: That could be okay.  I don't know.  I think it's gonna be a girl anyway, so it doesn't really matter.
Me: Um, you know if a boy pops out we're going to have to name him.
....Stephan....shrugs shoulders.

This, my friends, is why we have yet to pick out a boy name.

P.S. My presence might be a bit spotty over the next couple of weeks due to all the doting I'll be doing over my little fella.  :-)

  1. ENJOY your time with your men - big and little. And ENJOY your new home. I love when a house becomes a home. There aren't enough exclamation marks - I loved that....you are so right. True joy knows not the limits of punctuation.

  3. Yay! Enjoy hugging on your boy!

And I can totally commiserate with you on both the leg cramps and the choosing-boy-names dilemma. Really hoping our little one is the girl that she's supposed to be, otherwise we are going to have a nameless baby for a while!!

  4. Yay!!! I hope got to dote on him lots today. I am sure he's so happy to be home, flooring or not. Home is where the mommy is. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your leg cramps -- those used to about kill me when I was pregnant!

  6. Yay! Good luck with picking out a name...I find that boys names are so much harder than girls.

  10. I think it's funny that he's so convinced your baby is a girl! I wonder if he'll be right. I guess he has a 50/50 chance of being right! ;)

  11. Leg cramps! I hate those! They are the worst thing to wake up with at night! I hope you aren't having too many of them now.
