Levi took care of his baby all afternoon...except for handing her off to me to nurse. But, finally he just had to have his own sling, so I made him one using the instructions in this book.
P.S. The baby doll's name is "Brother Sister". While I was pregnant we seem to have made a little too big a deal about the baby being a brother or a sister. Levi has actually introduced Sophia as "my brother and my sister." :)
He looks so grown-up with his sling on. Love that he is taking to be such a great big brother!!

aw so cute, nothing beats teaching the new generation of parents about babywearing!
ReplyDeleteI love this! My oldest son did the same thing when he saw me holding Zane in a sling.

Awwwwwww, that is too sweet. You are such a fabulous mama! I can't wait to see the dude with a sibling!
ReplyDeleteOur girls both love to "wear" their dolls too. I'm not handy with a sewing machine so they don't have real slings, but we make do with blankets tied around "mei tai style." :)
