I'm sure it's possible to raise children without slings and wraps. I just don't know how it's done.
By the way, Sophia is bundled up in a Moby wrap...snug as a bug in a rug. Out of the wrap style carriers that I own, this is my favorite for itty bitty babies. It's got just the right amount of stretch. If you can only buy one carrier, though, a stretchy wrap should not be it. The stretch gets uncomfortable once the baby gets to be around 20 pounds. And, no, I'm not getting paid to tell you my opinion...unfortunately.
Completely agree with you!

Love the 'unfortunately' add to your post. Too funny.
ReplyDeleteLove that picture!!
I LOVE me some baby wearing! I don't think I have many pictures of Kimber Lee without her strapped to me until she started walking:). Sophia and you are beautiful BTW.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ramona! Miss Jewel was telling me about the man who was appalled that you had your baby in a "purse". Too funny!
ReplyDeleteaww...great shot of you guys, so sweet!
ReplyDeleteThe introduction to your post was pure poetry. I agree wholeheartedly! I don't know what I'd do without my baby carriers...especially in the first year.

Madeline, that was Anna Cate I had in my 'purse', actually an infantino sling, and yes that was funny. I remember him looking at me quite weird like.... I didn't have the right 'equipment' to wear Anna Cate like I did Kimber Lee. I wonder if that would have helped her colic...hmmmmmm...oh well, we lived through it.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see you guys again!
beautiful photo and beautiful wearing.
