Nut Milk And Blueberries

Nut Milk and Blueberries

Yesterday, our friend Martha (mama to Leigh) invited us over to her house for a little nut milk making adventure.  Levi thinks all things kitcheny are fun, so he especially enjoyed it.  He stood on a chair and helped pour in the nuts and the water, and then he would cover his eyes every time the blender was turned on....so cute.

Of course, being two, we couldn't escape without a meltdown.  So, Martha got the joy of seeing Levi grow horns....very long ones.  Sigh.  It's a good thing these little critters are so darn cute.

When we got home, Levi wanted blueberries and nut milk for lunch.  Me thinks I'll be making more nut milk soon.  I like it when I find a healthy food that he'll actually eat.

  4. What is it about two year olds and almost two year olds, that make them throw the loudest tantrums the world has ever seen?

  5. Ah...two. I remember it well. Even though two-years-old was a rough age for us, three was absolutely wonderful. So, hang in there...when everyone else is having major troubles at three, you can relax and know that you are through the worst.

  7. You mean people actually make their own nut milk? I'm so very impressed.

  8. How fun that you got to spend an afternoon with Leigh's mama! Does she live near you? Did you "find each other" through your blogs? I just love the way the blogosphere brings people together!

  9. Mmm delicious. Oh those horns come and go so quickly. Wasn't it Levi who had the blueberry (both ends) adventures last year too?
