It's a mostly girl's weekend. It's just been me, Nana, Aunt Annie, and of course, the little fella'. Yesterday, we had a fun and fabulous shopping day. I splurged on a very cute and very green gigantic purse. It was a whopping 22 bucks which I know isn't much, but I really didn't need need it. I just wanted wanted it. It's a perfect purse/diaper bag. I'll have to post pics soon. We topped the evening off with a good movie, Dear Frankie. During the movie Levi entertained himself by crawling in and out of a gigantic basket. Seriously, who needs toys when there are big baskets around?

Relative Fun and Cat News
Last night my Uncle Larry and Aunt Janice came in on there way to other destinations. It's been awhile since they've seen Levi, but he took to them pretty quickly. And, of course, I had to snap a few shots for the blog. Somehow I think you'll be able to tell who's who without any labels.
On another note, my indoor cat is now an outdoor cat. My house is a fabulous little house, but it is very little--think shoebox. The cat was great pre-baby, but post-baby is a whole other story. Now that Levi is crawling so much and into everything, the kitty litter and the cat herself made me very nervous. Not to mention cleaning up after a baby and a cat was a little much. I was afraid she wouldn't be very happy outdoors, but she's loving it. I think Levi misses her a little hence the pining away at the door.
But, he still gets to chase her outdoors:

Book Meme
Crystal tagged me for this book meme. It looks like fun.
The Rules:
* Grab the nearest book.
* Open the book to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post the text of the next two to five sentences in your blog along with these instructions.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one, pick the CLOSEST.
* Tag five other people to do the same.
Closest book is Cold Comfort Farm by Stella Gibbons. It's the book I'm currently reading. It's got a lovely, quirky sense of humor to it.
Alrighty then, page 56, fifth sentence.....
"The seeds wither as they fall into the ground, and the earth will not nourish 'em. The cows are barren and the sows are farren and the King's Evil and the Queen's Bane and the Prince's Heritage ravages our crops. 'Cos why? 'Cos there's a curse on us, Robert Poste's child."
Don't ask. I haven't gotten that far in the book, and I don't want to read the whole page just to figure out how to explain it. That might spoil things a bit.
I'm going to break the tagging rules. Anyone who has recently left me a comment can count themselves as tagged. Let me know if you do this one. I'd love to read the results.
Hmm...next closest book would've been the phone book. That would've been fun.
