Off The Sticks

It was just me and Sophia this weekend, so I spent Saturday morning knitting this hat (sans pompoms and ear flaps).  Well, at least, I tried to knit that hat.  Apparently, when I knit while nursing I get distracted...a lot.  So, I missed whole rows and just might have switched around the garter and stockinette rows.  It still turned out pretty cute.

Saturday afternoon we ventured out to The Knit Studio.  Oh. My. Stars.  Can I go live there?  Really.  The yarn...the shop owner...the whole place...so beautiful...and soft.

I have hats for the kids on my list... after I finish up some dishcloths for Christmas gifts. I haven't knit in the round... but am extra inspired if you can do it while nursing!

  7. Thanks guys! And, Corinne, knitting in the round is not nearly so hard as it looks. I feel a little silly now for how intimidated by it I was.

  11. Oh! The hat turned out adorable!

(That could be, in large part, because you have such a cute baby wearing it in all of the pictures). :)
