We hit the state fair this morning...before the rides were even open. Levi is the only one tall enough to get on any of the rides, and he's not really that crazy about them.
Lillian hitched the best ride of all.
We headed for the antique car show first, and the kids decided that these two tractors were the best in show.
Next up was the petting zoo. Sophia fed and petted everything that would come near her including a camel and an alpaca. (Of course, I didn't manage a picture of those.)
Levi stuck with the goats.
Their very favorite part, though, was the 4-H exhibit. It was especially difficult to finally tear them away from it. But who wouldn't want to spend all day watching baby ducklings...
And 'milking' wooden cows...
And sticking their heads into flowers?
I'd say a morning well spent.
