The 10 points of Joyful Parenting is possibly the best parenting advice I've ever read. I even printed it out and put it on my fridge...which is saying a lot. I'm sort of a fridge minimalist.
#5 and #7 are especially good...well, really, they are all especially good.

Just printed them out for my own fridge. I am NOT a fridge mimimalist, but it's a good reminder.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteUgh - now I need to change my attitude.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I may have not wanted to read those words, but I needed to.
I don't pray, but I wholeheartedly agree with 6, 7, 8, and I am glad someone else was able to express #7. Sometimes I feel that way, and I know, when I most feel like I want space from the repelling behavior, it is my child's plea for a little love.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Will print them too!
ReplyDeleteYes, #7, so hard to do sometimes but so needed.
Such a stirring manifesto! I need to print + display it somewhere too...but our RV refrigerator won't work. Hmmm. I'll have to think on that.
