I spent the better part of an hour on this (an hour that I coulda shoulda been sleeping through). All last minutey there will probably be a staunch refusal to wear it. But, I really just had to...not sure why...maybe one of those inexplicable postpartum things that I'll look back on and go "What on earth was wrong with me?!!"
Anywho, if you feel the need to lose an hour's sleep over a turkey shirt, here's a nice tute. I wanted a boyish shirt, so I drew my own pattern and changed up the colors. Stephan is so going to laugh at this. I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm crazy...especially about my last-minute-oh-my-stars-I-have-to crafting, but he puts up with me just the same.

I know why you HAD to - because I HAVE to, too. But I don’t know why exactly, if you know what I mean. I think it’s something connected with 'breathing'...
ReplyDeleteSuper, super, super cute. Something I'll have to put away for next year as I'm just beginning with my sew crafty self. And already have projects up that wazoo. But I love it. Truly.
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable and not in a too cutesy way - I love it!!! And that yellow is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!!
I LOVE this so much that I want to go to Wal-Mart right now and buy a plain shirt to make one! But I'd have to fight the last minute Thanksgiving shoppers. Hmmm...decisions, decisions. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! I am so the same way.
ReplyDeleteIt's very cute and I'm a big fan of last minute crafting.
ReplyDeleteI love that tiny turkey shirt - perfect for the holiday.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever considered starting an etsy shop?
